British Columbia - Regional Representative
Jim Munroe, a member of the Sumas Band, has been involved in aboriginal housing for over 23 years. He has worked for CMHC as a Compliance Inspector, BC Native Housing as Senior Inspector and Housing Officer and is currently employed with Carrier Chilcotin Tribal Council as their Technical Services Manager. Jim served as a director to the board for United Native Nations and sits on the Technical Steering Committee for Aboriginal Housing in British Columbia. Jim has completed more than 10,000 inspections for housing in 60 on-reserve communities.
