Subscribe now: CCMC Codes and Expression of Interest in CSA standards

FNNBOA has an arrangement with CCMC to access the following documents:

  • Illustrated User Guide; National Building Code

  • National Fire Code 2010

  • Purchase National Plumbing Code

  • National Energy Code for Buildings 2011

These copies are available in English and French.

FNNBOA needs to determine the number of Members wanting access to the CSA subscription service. The subscription service with CSA Group may give you access over 160 standards that are referenced in the national, provincial and municipal building codes.

An individual can access CCMC documents without being a member of FNNBOA but must pay a process fee. The individual will be asked if they want to also have access to the CSA Group standards. FNNBOA needs to identify the number of potential individuals wanting access. FNNBOA further needs to negotiate the subscription service agreement. To access the CSA Group subscription service agreement, the individual must be a member of FNNBOA[1].

Apply now

We recommend that you read the Terms and Conditions of the subscription before completing the form.

There are two application options - an online form or a PDF form.

What happens after your application and payment is processed?

Upon submission and processing of your application by FNNBOA (about 2-5 business days from receipt of payment), the following will occur:

-       CCMC document access: FNNBOA staff will forward your contact information to CCMC. CCMC will add your information to their subscriber list and you will receive, from them, information on how to access their documents.

-       Expression of Interests to CSA Group document. The subscription service requires a minimum participation to the service.  FNNBOA wants to ensure there is enough interest to access these standards to ensure value for money.  Once we know the number of individuals wanting access this will determine the type of subscription service.  Members will be informed via email on the progress of the subscription service and when access will be available.

Given the demands for the CCMC documents, it was best to release those documents now.

Thank you support and patience.
