Residential Rehabilitation Assistance Program (RRAP) and Estimation (1 session)

Webinar Description

The Residential Rehabilitation Assistance Program offers financial support for major home repairs. To qualify for financial support, the housing department is to provide an estimation to cover the costs of major repairs to substandard homes. This webinar focuses on an overview of RRAPP program and in particular how to provide written cost estimates on the repairs.

Prerequisite

The participant should be familiar with the RRAP program and guidelines.

What students will learn

  • Know the importance of RRAP on reserve program

  • The requirements of written estimations

  • How estimations are to be calculated on the repairs

  • How to address some of the challenges with estimations under RRAP
