This webinar gives an overview on the authority having jurisdiction (AHJ). This includes the meaning of AHJ and how it applies to First Nations communities. The webinar further discusses how the AHJ applies to municipalities and towns. Discussion focuses on legal cases associated with AHJ and potential impact on First Nations. Finally, points are raised about the challenges with First Nations and their responsibilities associated with authority having jurisdiction.
